Ray volunteered his time from 1995 to 1998 to the band office, and became an interim Chief from 1998 to 2000, at which time he became the Chief. The Nee Tahi Buhn Indian Band has about 121 members on and off reserve.

Richard was elected Chief of the Cheslatta Carrier Nation in May 2011 The Cheslatta Carrier Nation has about 272 members that live on and off reserve.

Frank Alec is the Woyenne Councillor / Deputy Chief. The Lake Babine Nation is the largest reserve and has approximately 2,200 members on and off reserve.
