Events

BLNDC is proud to support and host a variety of events that celebrate and uplift our community. We are especially honoured to play a key role in events such as National Indigenous People's Day, where we come together to celebrate our rich cultural heritage and promote unity and growth within our community.

National Indigenous People's Day

BLNDC leads the celebration of National Indigenous Peoples Day, honoring and celebrating the rich heritage, diverse cultures, and significant contributions of Indigenous Peoples. As a driving force behind this important day, we organize events, arrange fundraising, apply for grants, and provide financial support to cover expenses. Our dedicated staff work tirelessly to ensure the day's success. This day provides an opportunity to acknowledge the history, recognize the ongoing achievements, and foster stronger connections within the community. Through these efforts, BLNDC reaffirms its commitment to amplifying Indigenous voices and promoting cultural awareness and unity.
